The NetSavvy Guy is online!

Welcome to The NetSavvy Guy website!

I have lots of exciting things to share with you that I think will make you a serious presence on the Internet. I've been a very avid user of everything "cyber" for years and years--not as a programmer, not as a techie, not as a hacker. Everything I've learned has been from the eager and interested perspective of a real, living "end-user."

What's the difference?

My DNA make-up is simply this--I can't help but find "practical" and "innovative" ways to use tools and technology to make my life easier. I've been using e-mail for years, way before many discovered its terrific speed and efficacy in communication. But, like many others, I've also found e-mail to have some "bad habits" and "pitfalls" built into them, as well. I had to learn the hard way sometimes that this technology doesn't necessarily erase the bottomline of bad communication and in some cases creates totally new problems that didn't exist 10 years ago.

My dad told me over breakfast one day that I should consider writing a book about technology from an everyday end-user's point of view--I decided to start with a blog ;-)

I'm always on the lookout for new services and software applications that are clever, innovative, functional, and easy-to-use...I usually don't bother with complicated applications because they were obviously NOT designed with the end-user in mind...I'll pass!

Anyway, welcome to The NetSavvy Guy website...let's explore together!
